Invitation to the 3rd International Microbial Fuel Cell Conference

You are cordially invited to the 3rd International Microbial Fuel Cell Conference, which will be held from 6-8 June 2011 in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands. The conference is organized by Wetsus, Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Water Technology and the sub-department of Environmental Technology of Wageningen University. Both institutes are known for their advanced research in the fields of MFCs and MECs.

After successful MFC conferences at Pennsylvania State University (USA) and Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (Korea), this will be the first MFC conference in Europe. The conference has the objective to exchange research ideas and to establish links between research areas to improve Microbial Fuel Cell performance and widen its range of applications.

The conference will take place in City Theatre “ De Harmonie”, Ruiterskwartier 4, Leeuwarden. The dinner on Tuesday evening will take place in “ Grote of Jacobijnerkerk”, Jacobijnerkerkhof 95, Leeuwarden.
